Manitou Springs
Manitou Springs is known to be a little more quirky and eclectic. But there are so many bright colors and fun things to look at. We spent a whole afternoon just walking up and down the alleys with gift shops, memorabilia, treats, and coffee shops to stop in.
If you’re game, you can drink from one of the mineral springs. It is natural running water and all have a different taste! Some are sweet, some are tangy, but you might even get a few with a carbonated metallic flavor…just like guessing jelly beans!
Plus they’ve got a Penny Arcade which is my personal favorite. It’s a huge collection of old arcade equipment like coin operated rides, pin-ball machines, fortune tellers, or strength machines. Everything is retro! Some of these games are very very old, but still in operating condition! In case you were wondering, the candy is not from 1960…they restocked since then!
So go to Manitou Springs and check it out! Or tell me about your best childhood arcade memory in the comments!

It was a blast from the past seeing all the old time (my time!) games. So much fun at a great price!

Yea remember how we would play it at the same time and get so many tickets. And then we would go cash it in for a prize but it only amounted to like a tootsie roll lol
